Naoki Otani is a Research Scientist at Megagon Labs, who completed his Ph.D. at Language Technologies Institute at Carnegie Mellon University in 2023, where he was advised by Prof. Eduard Hovy. His primary focus is on Natural Language Processing, where he explores a range of research problems with a particular emphasis on leveraging implicit and explicit knowledge to enhance language technologies. Outside of work, Naoki finds joy in watching football matches, visiting local breweries, exploring diverse cuisines with his wife, and playing with his daughter.
