Hiroshi is Chief Research Scientist at Megagon Labs, Tokyo office. Hiroshi is leading the development of the Japanese Dependency Parser, GiNZA. His research interests include Sentence Embeddings, Intent-based RTE, Sentiment Analysis, Neural Parsers, and Neural Information Retrieval. He received his M.S. in Engineering from Nara Advanced Institute of Science and Technology. He started his business career at JustSystems and managed NLP research department from 2002 to 2010. Prior to joining Megagon Labs, he worked as a full-stack programmer, development leader, and data scientist for various start-up companies, and some of the services he contributed to have received several well-known awards in Japan.
He is enthusiastic about music and plays the viola (both acoustic and electric).
