Data provenance means recording where each piece of information came from and being able to point at it. In systems that produce structured output, that means attaching a source URL and a locator, such as a section, table, or infobox, to each individual row. A page-level citation says the answer came from somewhere on a page. Row-level provenance says which part of that page supports the specific claim.
