A model can recall a row from parametric memory and attach a plausible citation after the fact. The table looks grounded, but the cited page may not actually support the row. Tables also carry contracts that a citation never checks: primary keys, column schemas, scope statements, and cardinality. A table can hold individually plausible rows and still fail because the partition is wrong or the source frontier is incomplete.
