Hongjie is a Research Engineer at Megagon Labs Japan. Prior to joining Megagon Labs, he worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at Panasonic, developing a dialogue system. During that period, he developed the winning algorithm of the Fifth Dialog State Tracking Challenge, as well as an automated question-answering system prototype which later became a commercial product, “WisTalk”. He received his M.S. in Informatics from Kyoto University. He also studied Physics at Kyoto University and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
