Hiroaki is a Technical Product Manager at Megagon Labs Japan. After completing his graduate studies in Nuclear Engineering at Tohoku University, he gained experience at a technical research institute specializing in shipping and shipbuilding, as well as at Recruit, Megagon Labs, and a healthcare startup, before rejoining Megagon Labs. He co-authored a paper published in April 2023 that demonstrated how ChatGPT could pass the Japanese national medical licensing exam. Additionally, he is the lead author of Japan’s first self-regulatory guidelines on the use of generative AI in healthcare, titled the “Healthcare Generative AI Utilization Guide,” which was released in January 2024. Hiroaki is deeply interested in applying cutting-edge technologies, such as AI, to society and business.
